Artist Handling at Awakenings Summer Festival 2024 was the final chapter of the internship at Monumental Productions, and in many ways the most rewarding one. The event took place at Beekse Bergen and followed a similar structure to Awakenings Upclose earlier that year, with a week of build-up, three show days including partial night programming, and a day of breakdown. In the months before the event the advancing work covered coordinating hospitality, finalising guest lists, preparing the artist village, and making sure all materials and logistics were in place. Where Summer Festival differed from Upclose was simply the scale — double the stages, double the artists, double the artist crew.
